A classic car is a vehicle that usually has to be over 25 years old, and in most cases, is restored. It can also be called an antique or a vintage car. Classic cars are discontinued, but of considerable value. They are more valuable than new cars because they are antiques and many people like them for their looks, and power.  Classic cars also create an aggressive, rough engine sound. 

Some classic cars are also considered muscle cars, which have a specialized exhaust sound. People can insert holes in the exhaust pipe to make it sound different.  That’s what makes it a muscle car if it is done correctly. Many people favor that sound, and feeling of power when stepping on the gas pedal. Classic cars are discontinued, but of considerable value. They are more valuable than new cars because they are antiques and many people like them for their looks and power.

Classic cars may not be as powerful as cars now, but in their day, they were BEASTS! Some classic cars are stronger than newer cars because they are upgraded. However, new cars are stronger than most classic cars because they are more advanced and less heavy. Classic cars have very big engines because their frames and interior made them very heavy, needing more power to move them. If the cars of yesterday were lighter, they may have gone faster than vehicles today.

Classic cars are also rare and hard to find. Since these cars are more valuable, they cost way more. That is what makes them antiques, which are collectible objects that are of high value because of considerable age. Many classic cars go to an auction to get sold to buyers who really want them. That’s why If you want classic cars, you should visit an auction. 

Many people think classic cars look better than new cars because their design is longer and streamlined, and some of them were designed to look like spaceships. Car designers  took inspiration from the Apollo 11 moon landing. Americans were proud to have won the space race at that time against Russia. Buyers miss that look and don’t like cars looking like balloons and bubbles because they are so round and curved.

Classic cars are fun, a nice possession to have, and very very valuable. So if you have one, take good care of it.
